Tia Coleman
M.Ed, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor
Konichiwa! My name is Tia Coleman. I am a licensed professional therapist and a clinical supervisor with 10 years experience working with clients and families in school settings, community based settings, adolescents in shelters, and private agencies. I graduated from Marymount University with my BA and Masters.
I am welcoming, empathic and passionate about my work. I provide a non judgemental space where clients can learn, grow, and achieve their goals. I provide parents with developing parenting skills for managing behaviors. I utilize various therapeutic modalities to include TF-CBT, family systems, strengths-based approaches, and many more. I help clients acknowledge the various contexts which impact their lives, connect with their strengths and learn new ways to adjust to societies ever changing world.
I believe in the importance of self care and balance in life. I enjoy taking time to spend with family, travel and participate in competitive activities. I am excited to continue my work as an outpatient Therapist with Brookside.
