When you walk into the first session with your ideal client it feels like heaven. You LOVE doing therapy! You are a licensed mental health professional, ethical, well trained, and you are pretty good with almost anyone that comes in the door, but with a selective group of clients, you are truly GREAT! The problem is, in your current situation, you don’t get to have those kinds of experiences the way you want… and it is truly starting to wear you down. In fact, there are a few types of clients out there that you have to work REALLY hard to rally for and get excited about working with them.. and right now it seems like you are getting more and more of those clients.

You’ve thought about private practice, but the truth is- you don’t want to be a business owner and to carry the stress that comes with that. You get excited about talking to people, sharing what you do, and even enjoy giving a talk to the community from time to time- but you don’t want to be bogged down with accounting, bookkeeping, business planning, and search engine optimization! You’d really love to find a private practice where you made more money than the agency you are working at- but even more than that- you’d like to feel like you were a part of a truly awesome community. You want to be excited about seeing your coworkers, being part of a diverse team where you are valued, be able to have a quick chuckle between sessions, be excited about the clients you are working with, and be glowing at the end of a really hard clinical day because you know you did excellent work.

We are looking for practicum or intern students in therapy or counseling at the master’s level, Residents in Marriage and Family therapy looking for supervision and residents in counseling looking for supervision. We will accept all others with an unrestricted license to practice in the commonwealth of Virginia. We are a collaborative practice which means we work together for the benefit of our clients.  We have group supervision to discuss our cases, we will share clients if there is a need that another clinician can meet or invite other clinicians into sessions. We are currently serving all of Virginia virtually but are losing to have office space in or around the Manassas area.

Benefits and payments are based on experience, time with the company, and how many hours you work.  You can work as much as you want with a minimum of 10 hours a month. You are allowed to set your own schedule.
